Fire Extinguishers, Inc. is a Muskogee based company and has served
businesses, civic organizations, churches and families in
Muskogee and local communities for the past 35 years.
Because of his involvement as a volunteer fighter and first emergency responder, Scott Bynum is committed to the fire and police departments in Muskogee and surrounding communities. In response to an article written in the Muskogee Daily Phoenix, he donated ten 2-1/2 lb. vehicle fire extinguishers to the Muskogee Police Department. The article stated that the police officers who responded to an accident scene did not have extinguishers available in their vehicles to extinguish the engine fire in one of the semi trucks. Scott felt that this was a terrible tragedy and was shocked to learn that the police vehicles were not equipped with extinguishers.
Scott is a member of the member of the Better Business Bureau, the Muskogee Chamber of Commerce and the National Fire Protection Association. He was been awarded certificates of appreciation from the Muskogee Police Department and the Wagoner Elks Lodge.
